Announcing a cause so worth while that we just had to co-sponsor, along with Jugernot LLC (our parent company), an event to help out this newly formed organization with some much needed fund raising. The goal is to raise $500,000! They will need $5 million total but this will be a start in the right direction. This can be done with community support involving people just like you to help make a difference.

We are partnering with The Southern Sudan Project and The Pan-African United Nations to raise money to build the first free secondary boarding school accessible to all communities in the Aweil region to allow the further development of its war torn and impoverished people. The project will prohibit discrimination against gender, regional/national origin, religion, age and disability.

The money raised will go towards the hiring of the selected design team for the school and the commencing school accessories but not limited to school uniforms, sanitation materials, writing materials, clothing, and pedagogic materials for both students and teachers.

We are asking minimum donations of $25 from students, $50 from individuals and $500+ from businesses and churches.

People of the world it is time for us to help heal one of our many needy nations. Southern Sudan in the area of Aweil is trying to regain stability after the recent end of a gruesome civil war that has claimed the lives of over 5 million people.

Aweil is an impoverished community of an estimated population of 350,000 residents with little or no income, and a lack of educational and vocational skills necessary to gain employment or participate in society in order to build their community. The population features large extended families requiring greater financial resources to sustain themselves. The unemployment rate is overwhelming. Much of this can be traced to the lack of employable skills, or a mismatch between the skills of the residents and those required by local industries. Most of the members of the local community who are employed work in low wage general labor jobs or are self employed.

Helping those to help themselves will allow others to return the favor when we ourselves are in need.
